So yesterday I asked Oppo about whether I should buy a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! to correct my temporary absence of faculties while parking. I've instead come up with the third option that you see above....
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Well at least temporarily. My used OEM replacement part came much quicker than I expected. Showed up at work today less than 12 hours after I placed the order. If anyone on the mid-atlantic region is looking for pic and post parts I highly recommend A !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Very helpful and man are they fast. Part looks to be in great shape as well.
Now to take the door apart this weekend to install it.

lol nice :] I bought a mirror from the dollar store, broke off the plastic and using a hot glue gun, had my little sister glue and adjust before is cooled as i sat in the car. I got a razor to trim the edges, looked good for a $1 repair :]

Great way to find your car in the mall parking lot.

Actually, you've ruined it forever, because that mirror is such a goofy fix it has to stay. Maybe.

Yeah I thought about that. Someone took a picture driving into work today haha.

The beauty of this repair is that the electric adjustment still works. So i just 5 minute epoxyed it on last night and adjusted it this morning while in the car.

I'd at least keep the "fixed" part. Maybe put it on your computer at work.

the blinker light still works in the mirror too. I'll have to figure out a way to keep that wired up if I put it in my office.

All computer desktops have 12V power on tap from the power supply. You need to get a spare hard drive power hookup from an electronic store and wire a blinker circuit to connect to it.
Blinker circuits are pretty simple: couple resistors, transistors, capacitor - or you can use an auto blinker, though that would get hot with extended use and might not blink fast enough with the minimal load (analog one, anyway).
